I'm thrilled to be working as a Software Developer in Contour Software for their division Artifax Software - a dynamic and industry-leading cloud software company. My role involves contributing to the development of venue and event management solutions, collaborating with highly skilled professionals, and gaining valuable experience with technologies like PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, HMVC, Scrum, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server/IIS, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, and AWS.
As part of my role, I design well-architected software, write clean code, and follow industry best practices. I also develop 3rd party integrations and work on data import/export SQL scripts. Additionally, I assist in developing, testing, and supporting the Artifax division's industry-leading event, venue, and resource management software applications.
I report directly to the Head of Products in the Artifax division and collaborate closely with the Development team, Product Owner, and key internal stakeholders. I provide software support and maintenance while also contributing to requirement reviews, providing estimates of effort, and articulating multiple solutions and their trade-offs.
